Introduction
This privacy statement relates to the processing of personal data by L&A Advocaten B.V. in the context of our legal services (hereinafter: L&A Advocaten). Processing of personal data means, among other things, the collection, storage, recording, modification, retrieval, consultation or destruction of personal data.

L&A Advocaten takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. In doing so, L&A Advocaten adheres to the applicable laws and regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation ("AVG"). This means, among other things, that L&A Advocaten:

  • informs you of your rights with respect to personal data processed by L&A Lawyers.

The above topics are addressed in this privacy statement. This privacy statement is divided into three parts.

In Part A, we explain how L&A Lawyers handle the personal data of clients and associates.

In addition to personal data provided by clients and associates, we process a number of other groups of personal data within our organization, including personal data from our suppliers. In Part B, we explain how we handle these other groups of personal data.

Part C contains a number of general provisions that explain, among other things, how we secure your personal data and who you can contact with questions about this privacy statement.

This privacy statement is created and administered under the responsibility of the Board of L&A Lawyers.
